National Peach Council members are from all major commercial peach producing states and various state and regional peach associations. These members represent the nation’s peach producers and their businesses. National Peach Council provides a united industry voice on issues that impact the domestic peach producers and marketers. Additionally, members receive an annual subscription to the Peach Times, pre-season crop estimate report, and the annual yearbook.
The most significant member benefit is the positive impact to the peach market when the U.S. Department of Agriculture purchases frozen peaches. Such purchases help to stabilize the fresh market throughout the marketing season.
Funding for the National Peach Council comes from grower and marketer dues as well as voluntary contributions from members, freezers and allies of the industry.
